About Us
Northern Ag Traders is an Australian owned company based at Casino and with agents at Tabulam and South Grafton (we are in the processing of opening other outlets across the state). We service the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales from the coast to Tenterfield, and from the Queensland border down to Grafton.
Over the past 40 years the company has continually evolved. We began by offering contract harvesting and haulage services to livestock and crop farmers. This was expanded with the supply of bio’ farming friendly natural manures and fertilisers. Always keen to become a “One Stop Shop” for our customers, Northern Ag Traders expanded yet again by becoming an agent for Boorowa Tractors and then adding full workshop facilities for servicing and maintenance.
The most recent change has been the addition of the Anglomoil range of lubricants manufactured here in Australia which have been used by the agriculture, haulage, heavy vehicle and industrial sectors for 40 years. Northern Ag Traders offers the complete range of lubricants and workshop products.

“During the planting and harvesting seasons our equipment would continue to fail on us despite our best efforts. This led to even more expense and workshop hours and created unnecessary stress at a time where every day is so important to getting our work done. We were having to replace drive shafts and CV joints and re-pack bearings. We even found grease was separating from the bearings when it should have been sealed for life. This led us to a search for an alternative product. We tested another half dozen brands but the results weren’t much better. That was when we met Anglomoil. Instantly we saw that the Anglomoil greases were superb. Last season not one piece of equipment failed on us. This was the first time in years that we were able to use our whole fleet all season…that’s the tractors and trailers, the bins, mowers, hay balers, harvesters, cultivators and excavators. When we took them in to the workshop for their standard maintenance checks you expect to see some wear because there is a massive amount of horsepower going through these uni’ joints but they were all fine. We are now looking at extending our service intervals.”

“Our trucks average 1,300,000 kilometres before we turn them over and there was one older truck we bought which clocked up nearly 2,000,000 kilometres. Anglomoil oil suits all of our engines and they have all run very efficiently. A mate of mine was workshop manager for one of the major transport companies and even though they were using an expensive premium oil it was burning out at around 18,000 kilometres. I encouraged him to change to Anglomoil and the results were immediate. Service intervals went from 18 to 25,000 kilometres, they stopped using oil and when it was dropped there was still some life left in it.”

“Our cranes have oil viscosity sensors and the previous oils were dropping to 70 per cent. We replaced them with Anglomoil and they are running at 98 and 99 per cent. When the oil is drained out it still looks good, it hasn’t thickened up. One of the most defining tests we ran was when we compared used Anglomoil lubricant after it had completed a full service cycle with brand new oil from our previous supplier and they were both the same. We hadn’t seen that before, used oil the same as unused.”

“Before we introduced Anglomoil compressor oils we were experiencing all kinds of problems. The viscosities kept changing dramatically. They caused the compressors to gum up and in the worst cases we had compressors seizing on us. We have 13 depots located across Australia and a fleet with hundreds of compressors. Since we began using Anglomoil not one service manager has rung through with a problem. In my role no news is good news and to not hear a single comment in all this time is outstanding.”
